North Hampton, NH issues Hurricane Sandy warning

Falling trees may be a problem, and downed trees and high winds usually cause local and widespread power outages.

On Friday North Hampton officials participated in a conference call with New Hampshire Emergency Management. The storm is expected in the area late Monday or early Tuesday morning.

About 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected but of more concern are the high winds which may have gusts of 50-60 mph and upwards of 70 mph on the Seacoast.
