Lynch urges people to stay off NH roads Monday

Gov. John Lynch declared a state of emergency for New Hampshire on Monday as Hurricane Sandy continued to move toward the U.S. coast.

Lynch said the declaration gives him extra authority to deal with the storm. It also lines the state up for any federal disaster relief as necessary.
