Maggie Hassan defeats Ovide Lamontage
The Associated Press declared Democrat Maggie Hassan the winner in the gubernatorial race in New Hampshire.
With 10 percent of precincts reporting, Hassan led Republican Ovide Lamontagne 63 to 34 percent.
WMUR Political Scoop analyst James Pindell reported that Lamontagne lost his home ward in Manchester.
Lamontagne voted Tuesday morning at the St. Anthony Community Center in Manchester, where he said he has voted all his life.
