Woman says she was able to fend off attacker.

MILFORD, N.H. — A woman who pulled over to help when she saw a disabled car on the side of the road Wednesday morning had to fend off an attacker, police said.

Milford police said Mari Chapman was driving on Federal Hill Road about 10 a.m. when she saw a car pulled over on the side of the road with its flashers on.
