First-graders decide to help children in need.
HOLLIS, N.H. — Some first-graders in Hollis are in the spirit of giving this holiday season.
The girls, who are all turning 7 years old in December, decided they want to help other kids by donating all of their birthday presents to Toys for Tots.
The idea started with six families who were looking for a way to help this holiday, and it grew to include the entire first-grade class.
That means dozens of toys will be available to children in need.
