Plan voted to raise tax by cents
Hassan announced on Wednesday that she would veto a proposal to raise the state's beer tax if it landed on her desk.
According to WMUR, the governor called it a bad business idea which was good news to grocers who feared the increase in the beer tax would cut into business, particularly at the Massachusetts border.
