The Manchester school board has accepted the resignation of MaryEllen McGorry, former principal of West High School
The school board will continue to pay her salary for another 10 weeks and her health benefits until June 30. The move does little to shed light on what led to her suspension in September. According to the Union Leader, Superintendent Thomas Brennan cited individual privacy rights and that private laws restrict what can be shared with the public, as well as members of the school board. McGorry and her attorney could not be reached for comment.
