According to WMUR, sequestration could effect funding on education, Head Start and Early Head Start services would be cut for around 100 children, a loss of $1.5 million in environmental funding, 1,000 civilian Dept. of Defense employees would be furloughed, funding for military bases would be cut by about $1 million, $71,000 cut to justice assistance grants, $138,000 for job search assistance, 100 children could lose access to child care to name a few.
