AP- An iconic yet crumbling castle in New Hampshire appears doomed and headed for demolition. Kimball Castle in Gilford, high on a hill overlooking Lake Winnipesauke, was built by wealthy businessman Benjamin Ames Kimball in the late 1890s. The last member of the Kimball clan died in 1960, and the castle has been largely neglected and even vandalized since. The castle and its 20 acres are up for sale for $799,000.
